First involved in the Labour and TU movement as a precarious worker in McDonald’s, wanting to fight back against exploitative working conditions, low pay and an end to zero hour contracts, not just for myself but for my colleagues and friends. Committed socialist, I proudly supported and campaigned for Jeremy Corbyn, the radical socialist platform that he stood on and which the LRC supports. As LGBT+ Officer, I will bring my knowledge of organising to make the Labour Party and Trade Union movement as inclusive as possible, ensuring that LGBT voices are at the forefront of LRC work going forward.
