As a former CLP Vice Chair Membership, I have had first-hand experience of the challenges in encouraging women to come forward & take their place in the structures of the party. And as Chair of an LCF, I have witnessed the reticence of many women members to stand for Council positions. As a working mum, I understand conflicting challenges and will work to find new ways of growing, engaging with and supporting our women members to become more involved in the work of the LRC.
