My heritage - daughter of a Somali steel worker and grand-daughter of a Liverpool docker - determines my socialist politics, aligned to the aims and focus of the LRC. Following the leaked report and tragic impacts of C-19 we must provide concrete support and solidarity particularly to Black comrades – through our LP work, working with BLM and local campaigns that support low-paid workers, often disproportionately Black.
