The left needs to link the fight against efforts to make the working class pay for the economic crisis to our defence of policies and democracy against a Party leadership determined to drive out and silence the left. It will be crucial to support and encourage workers and community struggles. The LRC needs to continue to stand firm against the witchhunt, all forms of bigotry and for socialist policies, while attempting to work with all forces on the left of the movement.
